Rail Transportation Management Specialists
(RTMS) is a full
service industrial logistics consulting group that offers comprehensive
railroad management services to production companies.

The firm
was organized in
1983 and initially provided business development services to new small railroads;
chemical manufacturers; local/state industrial development agencies; inland and
deepwater ports; motor carriers; and econometric research firms. RTMS projects covered
a wide array of tasks including:
• export coal rail service operations design;
• hazardous and nuclear waste transportation;
• economic analyses and expert witness testimony for foreign trade litigation;
• comparative logistics cost estimates supporting manufacturing plant expansion;
• railroad locomotive overhaul and export; and
• market opportunity and competitor analysis and strategic business development.
In 1985, RTMS expanded to meet the production industry’s growing needs for railroad scenes. |
